Josef Dobriski - Co-Founder, CEO

Josef Dobriski is an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience in strategic and operational roles across industries. With a background that spans executive leadership, business strategy, and revenue generation, Josef has held senior positions such as President, COO, and Interim CFO at TenCate Advanced Armor Design, where he oversaw materials technology-focused development and manufacturing. During his tenure, he demonstrated expertise in areas including Board Governance, P&L Management, and Sustainable Growth, driving initiatives that enhanced the company’s market presence and operational efficiencies.

In his role as Director of Survivability Systems at TenCate Advanced Armor USA, Josef led the development and commercialization of advanced material solutions for both commercial and U.S. defense agencies. His focus on strategic vision and business planning contributed to the growth and success of innovative protective technologies, reinforcing TenCate’s reputation in the defense sector.

Currently, Josef is the CEO of Profit Ventures, Inc., where he manages investments in diverse sectors such as wineries, biodynamic beverages, and SaaS platforms, concentrating on maximizing ROI and scaling business opportunities. Additionally, he co-founded Cabrillo Club LLC, a venture in product management and development, and recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Soukos Global Enterprises, Inc. In this role, he was instrumental in structuring Series A & B funding rounds, formalizing strategic partnerships, and guiding cross-functional teams in executing a comprehensive business plan that captured long-term contracts with government stakeholders.

Josef’s career reflects a blend of operational rigor and strategic foresight, underpinned by his skills in financial modeling, executive leadership, contract negotiation, and business process improvement. James Chavez - Co-Founder, COO

James Chavez is a dynamic entrepreneur and strategic business advisor whose career has been shaped by a passion for optimizing operations and building scalable solutions across diverse industries. Beginning his professional journey in supply chain logistics, James developed a strong foundation in streamlining complex systems and enhancing resource allocation. This early experience gave him invaluable insight into operational efficiency, which he later applied to his work with high-profile clients.

As a Major Account Manager at Xerox, James managed a substantial portfolio in the Southern California region, serving Fortune 5000 companies, government entities, and educational institutions. He approached each client engagement as an opportunity to create meaningful, long-term value, tailoring strategies to meet their unique objectives. His role went beyond account management; James became a trusted strategic partner, immersing himself in each organization’s specific challenges and aligning Xerox’s capabilities with their strategic priorities. Through his work, he forged strong relationships and executed large-scale, multi-phase initiatives that not only improved productivity but also reinforced Xerox’s presence in these sectors.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, James transitioned from corporate leadership to co-founding multiple ventures across industries, ranging from consumer packaged goods (CPG) to biomedical. Each venture had a distinct mission and market focus, and James’s hands-on experience in launching and scaling businesses further strengthened his understanding of the diverse challenges faced by startups and emerging companies.

Today, as Co-Founder of Cabrillo Club, James channels this extensive expertise into guiding startups and small-to-midsize businesses through critical growth stages. His approach is comprehensive and collaborative, blending strategic foresight with practical solutions. James works closely with founders and leadership teams to build robust operational foundations, craft innovative product strategies, and position their companies effectively in competitive markets.
